What clearing clutter is on the physical level is space clearing on the energetic level. Both aspects of keeping the space clear should be a regular practice.
Working to free a house from subtle energetic pollution, from electro-magnetic fields (EMFs), Geopathic (earth bound) Stress, as well as sticky emotions left over after a divorce is widely unknown in our modern society.
Space-clearing rituals date back to ancient times in various forms. It was the shaman, priest or holy man of a community who would be called upon to bless a home, maintain good energy, or free a residence of disturbing, harmful spirits. Space clearing is a standard part of the traditional Feng Shui practice in Asia. Here in the West, a priest provides a similar service by blessing a home with frankincense and prayer, although modern society mostly considers such customs superstitious.
I remember years ago at The First International Feng Shui Conference in Munich, Grandmaster Yap Cheng Hai gave a speech on clearing spirits from the office buildings of one of his clients, a commercial real estate investor. Grandmaster Yap is a world-renowned Feng Shui master. He is the teacher and mentor of Lillian Too, also a world-renowned Feng Shui expert and author. Grandmaster Yap’s lecture consisted of his lighted-hearted description of his experiences confronting various bodies of spirits, in grotesque detail. He escorted them out of his clients' building. They were desperate to not have their 1000 unit office buildings deemed uninhabitable. I was stunned to observe nearly half of the audience leave during his lecture. Even Feng Shui practitioners at this time were not ready for this knowledge. His subsequent lectures adapted to western interests such as how to transform people into millionaires - a much more desired topic in our material world.
Where to start:
When we buy a new home, the first thing we do is to clean it out and prepare it for moving in. This usually entails making minor repairs, removing old wallpaper and carpets, putting on a fresh coat of paint and doing a thorough cleaning. In the same respect, a house requires some preparation and cleansing on an energetic level.
Recently I had an out-of-state client who experienced exactly such a pattern. He had just gone through an ugly divorce after having been happily married for 7 years in their previous house. When I asked him if he knew anything about previous owners, he told me that the last two owners of his new house had been divorced also. When he bought the home this had been a reason he was able to negotiate a very good price. This energetic issue - negatively effecting relationships - is likely stuck in the house structure for a long time. It will affect everybody living in this space.
Other typical experiences:
* Children with nightmares on a regular basis. We always want to check for Geopathic Stress in this case.
* Situations of families with lots of fighting, high frustration, stuck energy.
* Houses or areas with high crime rates.
* Properties which do not sell. The investment in a space clearing treatment is small compared with 3 to 5 months of stagnation or being forced to repeatedly drop the selling price.
* Hospitals or practices which see clients with health problems, law firms, or any company collecting stressed and imbalanced energies. At some point this energetic dirt piles up. It can affect the success of the business and the mood of the employees.
* Slow moving businesses with lethargic energies (low Chi) which might benefit from an energy boost.
A technical approach and addition to my own practice is the use of “quantum computer technology”. Using its advanced technology, one is able to link into subtle energy fields and transform the frequency matrix of a whole area. This quantum computer allows us to further equalize imbalances, dissolve obstacles and remove suppressive elements.
Caution: Please keep in mind that space-clearing is not to be taken lightly. Be careful with energies you are not familiar with. Clear yourself after working with disturbing energies by taking a shower or at least having a footbath in salt water.
